Our gathering 26 – 28 September 2025: Personal Mastery for Collective Impact – A Journey Toward Sustainable Futures, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam stands on the shoulders of giants. This is the first time since 1997 that the biennial Forum is hosted in Asia, positioning Vietnam as the heart of a global movement for collective impact.
It continues the 25-year legacy of the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL)—a global network co-founded by Peter Senge and other visionaries who introduced the world to systems thinking, learning organizations, and the integration of personal growth with institutional transformation. SoL has always believed that change begins from within—and that the inner life of leaders directly shapes the systems we seek to transform.
We are convening a diverse and global community of pioneers, practitioners, and purpose-driven leaders along with committed curious learners to explore together how deep personal mastery and conscious leadership can unlock meaningful systems-level change. If that’s you, come join us.

ABOUT PERSONAL MASTERY
Although there are many definitions and frameworks around Personal Mastery today, as the Society for Organizational Learning, we are primarily guided by Personal Mastery as a discipline espoused by Peter Senge in his 1990 book, “The Fifth Discipline”, as a foundational discipline of continuous learning of self, from part awareness towards systems awareness, which involves recognizing one’s role within these systems and how one’s own actions contribute to broader outcomes. In connecting profoundly and collectively to a shared future, the impetus to foster conditions where humans and nature can thrive together for the long term with healthier social systems, promoting shared leadership and willingness to adapting to navigate complex systems and their challenges effectively.
